Hello! We would like to take a moment and tell you a bit about ourselves!
Meet Ed Acevedo!
I was a flight attendant for 28 years with a major airline. I have a slight problem - I can't sit still - I had a flexible schedule and was able to delve into some very profitable side ventures. I have worked as an investment consultant, loan officer, prepared income taxes, and had my own home remodeling business. All of these were stepping stones that lead me to my passion - real estate! I was injured on the job as a flight attendant and had to take time off to recover. In 2009 a long time friend had just started in real estate and convinced me to join him - what started out as a part time job turned into a life long career.
I love and live my job! I am very technology minded so as long as I have my phone and a lap top I can do my job just about anywhere - and I do! Keller Williams is very technology forward and was a perfect fit.
What excites you about your work? I love the art of the deal! Negotiations, the back and forth sometimes nail biting deals - Getting my client the best deal - I live for that.
Where can we find you when you are not working? Not working? I don't understand the question - if I am sitting in a restaurant, with the neighbors, my daughters - I am always networking - you never know who needs real estate help.
What is you favorite room in the house? The kitchen - I don't cook I create! Nothing is better than sitting down over a good meal and catching up with people.
What do you do in your spare time? I like to play golf, Philadlephia sports - Eagles, Phillies, 76ers, taking my 3 dogs to the dog park, traveling.
Five things I cannot live without: My wife, my daughters, my dogs, coffee, sports.
Meet Celeste Acevedo!
I was a flight attendant for 17 years and held a couple of outside sales positions when one of my best friends was hired as the Team Leader of Keller Williams. She said I would be perfect for the Market Center Administrator’s position and hired me. I was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer for an up and coming Market Center. I was in charge of the daily running of the office, the finances (the agents loved me – I paid them!), and the keeper of the files – you name it, I did it! My favorite part of the job was helping agents get through their transactions smoothly – I did whatever I could to make the office a place where they could get what the needed – a hug or even a kick in the pants!
In 2011 I felt I needed a change, got my licenses and joined my husband who is a Realtor! I am licensed in Delaware Maryland and Pennsylvania – I love helping people turn their dreams into an address!
What excites you about your work? I get excited when I can watch clients eyes light up when they walk into a house – you know they are “home”!
Where can we find you are not working? I usually most evenings are spent on my front lawn! After work all my neighbors and I sit out front with a beverage and let their kids play until its time for dinner or bed – it’s a great way to catch up!
What is your favorite room in the house? The kitchen – everyone who visits ends up in my kitchen – I love to cook and sharing food with family, friends, and clients is the best way to get to know one another!
What do you love to do in your spare time? I love to read – like really read – like 1 or 2 books a week! And I sew – clothing, quilts – my friends always are asking me to whip up something, I have even started to sell the things I make!
Five things I cannot live without: My husband, my dogs, books, leggings, and lip balm.
"When my husband and I began to look for a house 2 years ago Ed was recommended to us by a friend of mine. Everytime we met he had a few houses for us to look at. There was a specific area we wanted to stay in and with us being in NJ and Ed coming from DE or PA he went above and beyond to get us in to see houses. We decided on a house and put our bid in the communication between Ed and his wife Celeste was awesome!! Every question or hesitation we had they both were great at answering everything and helping us through the whole process. Even after we made settlement and were settled in the house we were still going back and forth w/ the seller for a chimney issue. Celeste followed up w/ me for months to get the issue resolved. They are great!"
"Ed did a great job helping me find a home. As a first time buyer I had a lot of questions and Ed was always there to answer them. He was always available to show me a house if I found something I wanted to look at. I would have no problem recommending him to anyone looking for a home."
"Ed was very well versed in all of the areas that interested us when looking for a new home. He made us feel very comfortable and confident in sharing our personal information, finding exactly what we desired in a property, and explaining the process from beginning to our successful completion!"
"Celeste and Ed were wonderful to work with. They helped guide us through the process to home ownership and are very professional. They were very quick to respond to any concerns and made us feel like we were their most important customer. Highly recommended!!!"
"Ed and his team are great. The Ed Acevedo group really work hard for their customers. We sold out house faster than the neighborhood average. We got multiple offers on our house even when we had 14 houses for sale in your neighborhood. Ed knew exactly what to do to get the most out of the offers. When we were looking for houses Ed would work hard to get us into house right when the would come on to the market. Anytime we would contact Ed he would answer our calls or he would get back to us very promptly. I couldn't imagine ever using a different realtor."
